Swadhaar Greh – A Home of Rehabilitation of Destitute Women (Central Government Sponsored Centre aimed at providing a temporary sanctuary for victims of trafficking, domestic violence and other forms of destitution to provide shelter, counselling and rehabilitation and demarginalize them into society)
PES has been running a Ministry of Women & Child Development Sponsored Rehabilitation Centre for Destitute women since 2004. The purpose of this home is to provide sanctuary to women of all ages, girls and dependent children of the destitute women who have been subject to social marginalisation, violence, trafficking or other social crimes. During the sanctuary, they are provided with food, shelter and security, along with periodic counselling, training and other aspects as per the needs of the respective cases. The maximum period of the sanctuary is about 3 years for each individual, by the end of which the individual should have been made capable to be sent back into society to pursue a normal life.

Over the last 17 years PES has rehabilitated 1,322 women along with their 613 children through the Swadhaar Greh
